Guess what? It's my birthday month! I realized I never did share this project, so I thought now would be a great time to share a couple of quick and easy cards I whipped up with the "Happy Hooray" collection! I am always running out of birthday cards, so when I saw this fabulous collection, I knew I was going to be making a LOT of cards with it! I'd like to share my first set with you here today!
Here's a little look into my process:
First, pull these two pieces of paper from the collection:
Cut the bubble paper into a 4" x 5 1/4" block. And cut the 3x4 cards apart.
I am going to use the "party, party, party" card behind the "birthday wishes" card because I wanted the orange border to be visible.
The next step is to add some foam adhesive pieces to some of the ephemera pieces:
And place them on the card front:
This awesome collection also has some amazing coordinating washi tape. Let's add some to the card!
And speaking of amazing...how cool are these enamel confetti stickers?!?
Now attach the completed piece to the front a white card base:
One of my favorite paper-crafters, Anya Lunchenko, always adds patterned paper to the backside of her handmade cards. I was inspired by her to add paper to the back of this card:
That's it! Now it's ready to share!
But, wait. There's more! As always, I created a second (very similar) card while I had all of the supplies out!
Thanks for stopping by the blog today - Are YOU celebrating a birthday this month?
Supplies I used:
I love these super fun, bright, and cheery cards!!! (I need those Enamel Sprinkles!!!!) Thanks so much for sharing!
