fairy tails gift bags | doodlebug design

Once upon a time I was on the Doodlebug design team! For some reason, I neglected to share some of my projects here...but it's not too late - so I'm sharing now! This project was created for a team-wide "Off the Page" Challenge!  I love having cards, gift bags, and tags on hand so I can wrap a gift in a fun, unique way at a moment's notice. Here's what I created using the darling "Fairy Tales" collection:

Let me show you some of the details!  I used patterned papers, including the 4x4 cards on each bag.  On this one, I really wanted to use those sparkly rainbow sprinkles, they are just too cute!

Don't you agree?

Here's the next bag - I used some cute heart sprinkles in place of the raindrops below the clouds.

Speaking of clouds, I layered several different types and I love how they just pop right off the bag:

And finally, the cutest dang cupcake doodle-pop ever is the star of this bag:

I'm so excited to see that many of these products are still available, even though I created this project years ago!!

Pretty Floral Birthday Cards | Pebbles Inc.

Hello Friends! I recently realized recently that my birthday card stash is in need of some pretty new cards, and I am absolutely loving the vibe of the new "Hey, Hello" collection by Pebbles, Inc. You know what that means, right? A whole set of pretty cards!

I couldn't resist using a bit of the black dotted washi on this card - It's just the right amount of dark color to tie everything together!

Did you notice how the flowers and bees are popping off the card? They are actually stickers, but I used powder to remove the stickiness, then added foam adhesive squares for dimension! I love layering pop dots double and triple thick to enhance the effect! And, oh, how I wish you could see the shimmer of this gold washi tape!

I doubled up on the sentiment tags for each card as well - double wishes are TWICE as nice! Black and white floral washi is another fun way to make the other colors pop while adding a bit of interest!Birthday Cards with a Spring Vibe by Wendy Sue Anderson for @PebblesInc. featuring the "Hey Hello" collection

Get yourself in a springy mood by whipping up some fun floral cards like these - it's definitely a fun way to add to your stash AND brighten your own day while your at it! Happy Spring!

mini tag cards | doodlebug design

Hi Friends! Today I'm sharing a quick and easy little project that is made even easier with these cute "Odds & Ends" from the "Dragon Tails" collection by Doodlebug Design!

I love giving handmade cards, but sometimes a simple tag will do.  I combined the two with these little folding tags, and the little pieces from the Odds & Ends pack made it super easy!

Here's a look at the process!  Start by cutting a small card into a tag shape.  You can do this with a metal die, a digital cut file, or even by hand!

Now cut the same tag shape from patterned paper.  I used papers from the 6x6 paper pad, and I chose some of the monotone, more subtle patterns.  Place these on the front of the little card.

You'll want to gather some of the small pieces from the Odds & Ends pack.  Add these to the front of the tag/card with foam adhesive dots.

Tie some chunky doodle twine through the top of each card.

And, for an extra little touch, add a small piece to the inside of each tag/card with foam squares.  In this case, I used the small stars:

Here's a quick look at all of the supplies you'll need for this fun project:

And a closer look at all of the tags I whipped up today:

And don't forget an extra little something for the inside:
