sunny smiles | bella blvd. design team intro…

Hi friends – hope you’re having a great Monday morning!  I am getting ready to head in to town to visit my dentist – because you know, every girl needs a crown – or, in my case, several!  Grinding your teeth in your sleep is BAD – don’t do it!!!   But before I go, I wanted to share a little bit of news – Bella Blvd. is starting to introduce all of their new design team members today – and I am up on their blog this morning (here).  I’d love to invite you to pop over and meet my fellow designers – and as a bonus you’ll get to see lots of fun projects!  Hope to see you over there! :)

This is one of the two layouts they are sharing with my introduction – some silly photos I took of the little boys earlier this month down in St. George.  We were relaxing on a bench at the park and these two were in the silliest moods – I was so glad I had my camera to capture, yet again, their fun little relationship!

I just love all the bright, fun colors in this collection – appropriately named “Play Date!”  You can see more of this collection – and purchase it -  HERE, but scroll down to see more details from my layout. :)

home for the holidays shadowbox | doodlebug design…

I have another fun holiday project to share with you – today it’s a fun shadowbox featuring the “home for the holidays” line by doodlebug design  Did you know doodlebug had their own line of shadowboxes? They are really great quality and I just love the fun 8x8 size!

wendysue_shadowbox_frame

I just love these little pre-made mini bows – you can mix and match the patterns and colors, but they are already printed, measured, and perfectly die-cut!

And of course, the “doo-dads” or flair/buttons are super duper cute!

Oh, and don’t forget the “sugar coated” glitter snowflake paper – another favorite of mind:

holiday gift box | home for the holidays | doodlebug…

I know the holidays seem like they are a lifetime away…but truly, there are only 94 days until Christmas! (you’re welcome!)  It’s time to start thinking about all the fun projects you want to create before the big day arrives – and let’s be honest, the closer it gets, the busier we get, and the less time we have to enjoy the process and fun of creating.  So now is the perfect time to start crafting for Christmas!  Have I convinced you yet?  Well, if I haven’t…maybe a peek at this super cute holiday collection from Doodlebug, called “home for the holidays” will convince you:

Seriously – is this not the cutest Christmas line? I just love those sweet little reindeer!! :)

Earlier this week I created a fun little gift box to share on the Doodlebug blog

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the pieces from patterned paper

and the assembly was quick and easy

this would be a fun little project to put together for teachers or neighbors or friends.

And those sweet little bows are in a set…already pre-cut and ready to assemble!

And the pixies – aren’t they so fun?!?  I just love the Christmas set – so colorful and happy!

A few months ago, before CHA, I was lucky to get a sneak peek of this collection and I created a few cards to share in the Doodlebug booth at the show.  Here are the cards I created:

Seriously – these reindeer doodle-pops are my favorite pieces of the entire collection – and the collection is amazing, so that’s saying something! ;)

looking good layout | day to day collection | doodlebug…

Hi friends!  I wanted to be sure to share this fun layout I created with one of Doodlebug’s newest collections – day to day:

wendysue_daytoday_layout

This collection has lots of fun “everyday” type elements – but the glasses are my personal favorite and I thought they were perfect for this fun picture I took of Seth last year when he got his new glasses:

Aren’t the “pixies” fun?  They are like little coffee stirrer straws…but in fun, bright doodlebug colors!

Oh, and the sprinkles – how I love the sprinkles!

I was also able to spend one day down at the Doodlebug offices before CHA last summer, playing with new products and helping create projects for their booth.  Here are two of the cards I created that day:

So, what do you think?  Do you love this collection as much as I do?  You can purchase this collection HERE!

I filled them up with yummy sweet treats:

Now I just need to tuck these away for a while so I am not tempted to eat the treats…but I suppose if I do happen to eat one or two, I can always buy more to replace them! ;)
