modern millinery giveaway…

Hello, hello, hello!  If you’re hopping over from the Making Memories blog, welcome!  If you’re one of my regular visitors, welcome!  If you just stumbled upon my blog randomly, welcome to you too!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or you know nothing of the crafting world – which is totally fine, by the way), you likely know that today is the very first day of the CHA trade show.  I was able to create several projects for the Making Memories booth – here’s a little peek at one of the cards that’s on display there right now:

I created this card using Making Memories’ line called “Modern Millinery.”  Isn’t it pretty?

I’m wishing I was there, but since I’m not, I get to do the next best thing…share some fun brand new product with YOU!  Literally!   I get to give away this:

MMGiveaway

If you like what you see and you’d like a chance to win this fun little prize package for yourself, here’s what you need to do:

First, leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite Modern Millinery Product

And for a second entry, “Like" the Making Memories facebook page (here) and come back and tell me you liked it!

I’ll choose a random winner on Thursday.

Good luck and have a great Tuesday!

believe…

Making Memories is back, baby!  What?  You didn’t know they were gone?  Well, technically I guess they weren’t, but from a design team member’s perspective, it felt like they were gone.  There were behind the scenes transitions and changes, and after designing for Making Memories for nearly a decade, I found myself really really really missing them over these last few months.  Imagine my delight when I got that e-mail a few weeks ago, telling me they were ready to get busy with a design team again!  My very first assignment, which was for CHA, of course, was to work with their brand new holiday line, “believe.”

This is the layout I created:

I love the true reds and greens, along with the lighter shades mixed throughout the papers and embellishments.

And do you know what else I like? I like the pops of black and gold – kind of traditional, but kind of unexpected at the same time.

The colors and designs are so easy to mix and match – and the embellishments are just plain fun to work with!

Here’s a peek at the entire line:

and the embellishments:

…and there’s a 6x6 pad too!!  Isn’t it fun?!?

Be sure to stop by next week…I just might will definitely be sharing some more Making Memories love…and it’s quite possible I’ll have some goodies to share with one lucky reader! ;)
