…and so it begins…
We sent Josh off this morning – he’s headed to scout camp for the rest of the week. There are amazing things planned for the boys including river rafting! We’ll miss him, but these camps are so awesome and such great learning/growing experiences for him – I’m grateful for wonderful scout leaders who volunteer to spend their own time to plan and carry out these amazing camps!
Meagan will take off next week for a very similar experience. The girls in our ward are also going river rafting for camp this year. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful leaders who take care of our girls and provide amazing experiences for them too! Not only do they have a great time, they are given the opportunity to strengthen their testimonies and resolve to live the gospel.
I could feel a little left out, but as it turns out I get to attend summer camp too! And right from the comfort of my air-conditioned home! No mosquitos, no scorching sun, no burnt hot dogs (yay)! And even better – YOU can join me as well! Yep, it’s time for Echo Park Summer camp to begin!
