A lot of people I talk to about my “job” tend to assume I’m all caught up with my family scrapbooks. They couldn’t be more wrong. Here’s further proof of how far behind I actually am:
This is a layout about Josh’s first day of fourth grade. He is just starting the last term of sixth grade. Oh well. I am, however, so glad I blogged about that day – because that’s where my journaling came from – straight from the blog post. I need to be better about doing those kinds of posts, otherwise, I forget the details (I’m getting too old to remember much of anything these days).
Anyway, I used products from the brand new “boys only” line by Doodlebug on this layout – I loved the colors in this collection and thought they worked perfectly with these photos.
Not only do the colors work perfectly, but the accents and embellishments were exactly what I wanted for this page. I’ve linked all of the products I used below so you can check them out if you want to! :)
What a great page- and I so get being behind on the pages- I love your blogging for journaling idea- since I don't remember 5 minutes ago anymore!! ack!

Cute layout., the doodle bug paper is so cute, and I never noticed that until seeing your layout.
ReplyDeleteWendy, this is truly a page that inspires me to scrapbook. Your style makes me smile! Thanks for the push in the right direction!
