quick and easy christmas cards | pebbles inc.

I shared some quick and easy Christmas card ideas on the Pebbles, Inc. blog last year (HERE)!
You may see a theme in my cardmaking, as I shared another "quick and easy" card post on the Pebbles Inc. blog just last week (HERE)!

Yes, I love quick & easy cards!!

I used the "Merry Merry" collection for last year's cards - you can buy some of it HERE - and you can see all of the fun Pebbles Christmas products available to purchase HERE as well!

If you are like me, and don't have all of your cards finished (let alone all of the shopping, wrapping, and baking done), let me help by showing you how quickly these cards can be put together! First, here's a quick look at the finished product, then keep scrolling down for the step-by-step instructions - I promise it's easy!!

Here's my secret: I started with these fun 3x4 cards!

After I chose which 3x4 card to use, I let that be my guide for choosing patterned papers and embellishments!  For my first card, I chose the cute snowman 3x4 card.  Here's a look at the additional items I chose to coordinate with it:

For the base of the card, I cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of red paper for the background and a 1 3/4" x 5 1/4" piece of coordinating paper to add to the edge.  I also wanted to add a strip of coordinating washi tape to the seam.

Next, I used a small hole punch to create small notches where I wanted the twine to be wrapped and tied into a bow:

By adding the notches, the twine will be secure and won't travel across the card:

Now's the time to add the 3x4 card with foam adhesive dots:

Next, I used some printed die-cuts and cute little puffy stickers to embellish the 3x4 card:

I couldn't resist putting that cute little candy cane in the snowman's hand! ;)

The final step is to place this entire piece on a coordinating card base!  I chose an ivory cardstock which I cut, scored, and folded to create a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card base

See, I told you it was easy!  Here are two additional cards I created with the exact same process. quick and easy christmas cards by @WendySue with the "Merry Merry" collection by @PebblesInc quick and easy christmas cards by @WendySue with the "Merry Merry" collection by @PebblesInc
It truly would be easy to create a dozen unique cards in an hour or so, as long as you have all of the 3x4 cards and coordinating supplies ready to go!  I hope you're enjoying your holiday season, and finding plenty of time to craft and create too!
