let's party card | carta bella paper

Sometimes I find that I love bits and pieces of themed collections so much that I want to use them on projects with different themes!  This alpaca was just begging to be used on a fun birthday card, don't you think??  I just couldn't wait to share this card I created with the "Pack Your Bags" collection!

I cut the alpaca card from the 3x4 card sheet, then I trimmed it a bit more - cutting the text from the bottom - you'll see what I did with it in just a minute.  Then I pulled out one of my favorite dies, an oldie, but a goodie, the "Let's Party" set, to cut the words and balloons for my card. Of course, I added a bit of stitching with my sewing machine (because I LOVE it), and I added a sticker with a few foam pop dots too.

To complete the card, I added the text portion of the 3x4 card, along with a few stickers to the INSIDE of my card!

My challenge to you is to think outside the box and try to use one of our themed collections for something other than the intended theme! :)
