books 2010, a mini album...

...slightly overwhelmed right now - lots happening in my little world (way too much stress and drama for  my taste)...but I wanted to pop in quickly to share a fun little project I worked on last month.

This mini album will be a little place to record the books I will read throughout the year.  Isn't it funny how writing a book report when you're in 4th grade is such a pain in the rear (just ask Josh, he'll tell you!!!), but I'm actually looking forward to writing little book reports now!

Also, a huge thank you for all of the book suggestions you guys shared with me - I've made my list and I'm excited to get busy reading (and treadmilling, lol) again!  Last night I started reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

{eta:  I've received several e-mails recently asking if I have any more surprise boxes available (see sidebar ---->).

The answer is YES!  I do have more surprise boxes available...and ready to ship right now!

I am not sure if I  e-mailed everyone back - I think I did, but my head has been elsewhere lately,

so if I happened to miss responding to your e-mail, I hope you see this little note. thank you!  :o)}

  1. I LOVE this idea! I've been keeping track of everything I read for years, but have never figured out a good way to record the list. Thanks for the inspiration!

  2. what a cute way to keep track of the books I read... much more appealing than my Excel spreadsheet (which is sadly out of date...)

    I might have to take this idea and use it for myself! Thanks!

  6. so cute! I have been meaning to do a book to record what I have read, you've inspired me to get it done! If you get a chance, watch the movie "The boy in the Striped Pajamas" when you are done reading the book, it is a really powerful movie! Let me know if there is anything I can do to ease the drama! Never fun!

  9. Excellent idea and Fantasic Job!! Don't be suprised if you need to use it as a journal to get you through the book you are reading. Can't put it into words the feelings you will experience in that powerful reading.

  10. What a great idea this is! I've seen a layout showing books read, but this is a good way - of course, since I read 3-4 a week, it wouldn't last very long if I was doing a 'book report' on each one of them! Love your colors and combinations. Great job.
