framed thanksgiving banner…

Good morning!  I am sitting here in my cozy family room with a fire burning and the promise of snow in the forecast (which I am actually dreading right now since my daughter has plans to drive to Salt Lake tonight to a Jazz game – praying the snow will either hold out until tomorrow or just dump and be done early).  While I’m not sharing a wintery project today, I do have a fun Thanksgiving project I recently created to add to our entry and I’d love to share it with you!

Remember my framed Halloween banner from last month (I blogged about it here) – well, I finally switched it out and created this one:

I used an awesome new die from Top Dog Dies to create the polaroid-style frames for the base of the banner pieces.

wendysue_thanks_banner2AND, I created an entire step-by-step photo tutorial for the entire project – you can find it over on the Top Dog Dies blog – please check it out! :)

In addition to my new favorite die – I used some of these gorgeous papers and embellishments from Pebbles, Inc.:

  1. What a wonderful idea of switching it out with the seasons and holidays. Love how the Thanksgiving one turned out and your entry is GORGEOUS! Makes me feel a bit sheepish about how lazy I get with my decor. ;)
