Welcome to the Echo Park Paper Design Team Blog Hop! Today the Echo Park Paper Design Team is showcasing projects from our latest collections.
Today I am sharing a card I created using my brand new favorite BOY-themed collection: SCOOT!
There are lots and lots of BOY birthdays coming up in our family, so I am planning to make a whole bunch of cards with this fun collection for each of the cute little guys.
To make this card, I simply used one of the 4x6 cards printed on THIS sheet as the base:
Then I added some border stickers, number stickers, and some coordinating paper strips…
Of course, there were plenty of foam dots added for dimension (because I LOVE foam dots), and some fun teal baker’s twine as well…
It was really a quick and easy card to put together – and fun to add a bit of personalization with the number sticker too.
Thanks for stopping by to visit – be sure to follow the blog hop list below as you hop from one blog to the next. ONE winner will be selected from each blog to receive an Echo Park Paper collection kit of their choosing.
To qualify for the kit I am giving away, simply leave a comment telling me the next occasion you plan to give a homemade card!
Comments will be due by midnight EST, Sunday, February 24th. After I post a winner, you will have 3 days to contact me. If I don’t hear from you, I’ll be forced to choose a back-up winner…so be sure to check back on Monday, February 25th to see if you’ve won! Бумага чудная и Ваша работа это ещё раз подтвердила.
ReplyDeletePerfect card for a young man, and a wonderful showcase of the Scoot collection. Next card-giving opportunity is today: a Happy Engagement heading off to my cousin and his new fiance; Happy Anniversary to my brother and his wife, married 5 years (well, technically 1.25 years, since they got married in a Leap Year!); and a 'Bee Happy' card hand-delivered to a friend. Whew...lotsa card making going on here. LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for inspiring and sharing.
What a sweet, simple card!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking card and so simple to make!
ReplyDeleteCute card! I used some cut apart pages to make Valentines for my family this year. So quick and easy. The next time I'm planning on giving away handmade cards is Tuesday! I have a group of 9 year old that I work with every other week, and I'm not going to be doing that anymore. I'll miss them so much, and I want to let them know individually what I think is special about each of them!
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I will be sending homemade birthday cards to family!
ReplyDeleteLike this collection, full of fun and bright colors.. Your card is amazing..
ReplyDeleteI have a couple Thank You cards to send, and then will start the family birthday whirlwind!!
ReplyDeleteI am getting more inspired to make some cards of my own - this is so simple yet cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use the journal card as your base. Hmm... new idea and one I don't know why I didn't think of it myself. Seems so practical. lol. I am in the middle of my next homemade card but it is for a card contest I am part of so it really isn't set out for something or someone special yet. It's a thank you so we will see...I am having surgery soon and know I will be getting some help from friends so I assume that will be it.
ReplyDeleteNice card!
ReplyDeleteI am a scrapbooker and not a card maker! I will take inspiration from those that make cards, but haven't really tried to make one. I have been tempted to try, but I don't have tons of time so I tend to use my free time to work on my scrapbooks. I love the card you made and how you added the number to the trail of smoke...so cute. I will definitely be using that in one of my layouts. I just got Scoot so I can't wait to use it!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! Thanks for chance to win EP paper! I will try to create with its help something so remarkable!
ReplyDeleteLove this collection, My nephew;s birthday is coming up and I volunteered to do goody bags =/ So a card and goody bags are in order. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm already working on St. Pat's Day cards. I just got a cameo so I was playing yesterday and cut out a bunch of shamrocks and tried a few other cuts. I don't think any birthdays are coming up soon so St Pat's will be the next one's going. I do have to come up with three projects for my Stampin' Night group (that is usually 3 cards) so I'll be thinking about them too. Love the idea of using the printed cards for the birthday card. Really cute. Hope we get a boy in the family soon.
