This week on the Pebbles blog, we’ve been sharing holiday layouts and projects featuring “non-traditional” colors. This is the layout I shared yesterday.
The first thing I did was change my photos to black and white – not only were they “traditional” in color, they were also super busy…just like the Christmas Eve when they were taken.
Next, I cut strips of paper from the 6x6 pad and created this little tree. I used various stickers from the Seen & Noted (which you’ll find in stock and on sale right now HERE!) collection to decorate my tree.
I used plenty of foam pop-dots to add the ornaments to my tree – I just love the teensy bit of subtle dimension they add.
I love taking pictures of the kids in front of the tree in their holiday jammies – but this layout was meant to focus on telling them that they are MY best gifts – no matter what else is under the tree!
These bright colors make me happy and bring back memories of the multi-colored Christmases of my childhood. Have a colorful, magical, sweet weekend!
