my migraine miracle…

Over the last several years migraine headaches have been a regular occurrence in my life.  Usually these headaches were accompanied by nausea and an aversion to sound and light.  So not fun.  I tried everything short of prescription drugs…I just didn’t want to go there…and sometimes I could take something (or a combo of things) that helped, but not consistently.  It was kind of a crap shoot…and to be just downright honest, it stunk. 

Well, about four months ago, I saw a post on a blog (it was one of those late-night blog-hopping random blogs that I’ll probably never even find again) about a headache medication I had never heard of. If you get terrible headaches, you will understand when I tell you that I quickly hopped online and ordered some to try.  When you are desperate for relief, you’ll buy almost anything someone recommends highly. 

It came and I used it.  It worked.  I wasn’t 100% sold, because, as I mentioned above, sometimes other things worked too, but nothing ever worked every time.  So, the next time I got a headache, I tried it again.  It worked again.  and again.  and again.

I was telling a neighbor about my headaches and she told me that she had suffered from migraines her entire life.  It was not uncommon for her to have to go to the ER because of the intensity of the pain caused by her headaches. I gave her some packets to try and she recently told me that they worked for her too! 

So, just in case any of YOU suffer from terrible headaches, I thought I’d share my little miracle find:

 

It tastes nasty…but I just chase my goody’s with a drink (diet coke, usually, lol) to get the terrible taste out of my mouth…and within 30 minutes my headaches are either completely gone, or greatly reduced.  Even though I kind of have to gag it down, I love this stuff.  I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from headaches.  If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear from you.  If you decide to try it, please let me know if it works for you as well as it’s worked for me. :o)
