Last year I started a "december daily" album. I started out strong...but then the sickies hit our house and I didn't ever get myself back on track. Today I saw these great overlays on Ali's blog and decided maybe this was the answer for this year...so I purchased them and committed to myself that I would take at least one photo each day until Christmas.
December 1st was unseasonably warm - still no snow on the ground. I spent the morning in Provo, running a few errands and picking up a couple of Christmas gifts. After we cleaned up dinner, we made rice crispie treats for Seth to take to preschool tomorrow for his "birthday treat." I went into my office and when I went back out into the family room, I saw all four kiddos camped out in front of the tv, watching The Grinch (The ORIGINAL Grinch, is what Seth calls it). A perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

ReplyDeletegreat idea on taking a photo a day! i wonder if my girls would even know the original "grinch" movie? lol! it's on here tomorrow night ... i should record it for them.

Wendy, I'm going to try to finish this year too. I've been working on last year's to 'tie up some loose ends', but I'm excited to start this year so I don't get behind. This is one book that has a beginning and an end, and it's one of the most looked at books we have! Janet - WI
