As I created this layout for my Doodlebug assignment recently, I just couldn’t fathom that these photos of Zach were taken 3 whole years ago…it’s crazy how fast time has flown by. I’m so grateful for photographs and scrapbooks to help me remember all of the fun (and some of the not-so-fun) events in the life of my family…
This layout was featured on the Doodlebug Design blog earlier this week – it features “The Graduates” collection (available for purchase HERE)!
What? This collection doesn’t look like the same one I used on my layout?
Well, that’s the beauty of this collection – it’s made up of neutral colors – black, white, silver, gold – and then you can add whatever colors you want to make it work with your photos or school colors or whatever you wish!
I perused my Doodlebug collection and found lots of orange papers and elements to use on my page.
I love how it all worked together to create a cohesive page, where you’d never guess all the items weren’t “meant” to go together.
And now I can’t believe we’re nearing the end of another school year. This little pre-school graduate is wrapping up his 2nd grade year. And our daughter will be a senior in high school next year. Crazy. It seems like she was just graduating from pre-school!
Thanks for stopping by – have a great Friday!! :)
Oh this is fun, I love the color orange!
