Good morning! Before I share today’s project, I just had to tell you about a funny little thing that has been on my mind. Well, not a funny thing really. You see, I have this cute daughter who is smart and witty and clever. She is confident and brave and strong. She is not afraid to say what she is thinking – and she’ll deal with any fallout it may cause. Now, that all sounds pretty dramatic – it really wasn’t meant to – but yesterday I was reminded, in a silly little way, about her personality and how she always adds such a unique and interesting perspective. Okay, enough babbling – this is what caught my attention yesterday:
A silly little post she put on Instagram. She shared a beautiful photo of the Provo Temple, covered in snow. Seems innocent, right? But then read what she wrote.
It was the same thing I’d been thinking the entire day…but I didn’t say it or share it or write it or anything. She did. That’s her personality. I love it. And her. That is all. Let it Snow! :)
And now on to this fun layout I created for the Bella Blvd. blog earlier this week. On Monday, we were challenged to create a 20 minute layout. I am not a fast scrapbooker, so it truly was a challenge. You can read more about how I did (or didn’t) meet the challenge here, on the Bella Blog.
And speaking of scout camp…both of my little boys are getting excited for Cub Scout Day camp next summer – yes, already! It was such a fun memory for Seth, and I’m glad Zach gets to experience it this year too. :)
I’m off to run some errands (yes, in the SNOW) before the kids are all home from school – I hope you’re having a happy day and enjoying whatever it is that makes your life unique!
That's awesome. I would have expected some church related comment :) love her picture of the temple! Will be nice when summer comes so we can complain about the heat :) Now i'm off to watch soccer in the snow.
