Last weekend, the Cosmo Cricket design team shared projects using the Mitten Weather line.
This is the layout I created for the blog.
These photos are kind of old – out of my stash from my “pre-digital” days. Even though they aren’t the best quality, I still love them. They were taken a few weeks after Zach was born – so I was inside, where it was nice and cozy. For the most part, 2 year old Seth stayed inside with us, but on this particular day, he insisted on going outside to play with his big sister and brother. One of the neighborhood boys came over, and they all stayed outside for a long time making snow bricks with buckets and building little walls all over the yard. It’s funny how kids can get so busy having fun that they forget how cold they are!
I was also able to use a fun new tool for the first time from Epiphany Crafts – it was a button-maker. I used it to created coordinating buttons for my page. It was a great tool to use – I’d definitely recommend it! I’m looking forward to creating more buttons (one of my favorite embellishments) to coordinate with any papers I want to use…such a great idea for a product!
Be sure to check out the Cosmo Cricket blog for loads of amazing ideas this week…and be sure to leave a comment on their blog if you’d like to win your own fun Epiphany Crafts prize package! :o)
