I am so excited to be able share Paper Crafts Magazine's latest special issue with you:
Just as the title indicates, this special issue is all about STYLE! The cards in this issue are divided into four different styles -
- fun & cute
- clean & graphic
- classy & elegant
- shabby & vintage
I doubt it would be difficult to figure out that my cards are featured in the "fun & cute" section! I love fun & cute! It's the style that comes most naturally to me. It makes me happy. :o)
I enjoyed working on my cards for this issue because I was free to create with my favorite style in mind! Not that I don't love a good challenge, but sometimes it's awesome to just sit down and create whatever comes naturally!
Just for fun, here's a card I created just for this blog-hop - it definitely features my "go-to" style:

The cutest thing I have seen this week? That would have to be the pictures of my great niece and nephew that I downloaded onto my computer from my camera. They are 3 yo and 1 yo and are the cutest ever.

ReplyDeleteThat card is soooo cute! The cutest thing I heard this week was today at Hobby Lobby. A little girl was getting on her mom's nerves while looking at stickers and the little girl said Mom I bet I know what you're thinking. And the mom said I bet you don't. And then the little girl said I bet you're thinking how much you want to buy me these sparkly stickers! My own daughter and I burst out laughing!

The cutest thing I've seen this week would be my adorable granddaughters. They always inspire me to make something pink, pretty and sparkly. I really like your fun card. The colors make me smile:)

ReplyDeleteI saw the cutest little girl today in the store, tiny, petite little blondie buying a backpack that was bigger than she was! Her Mom was helping her put it on.
ReplyDeleteThe cutest thing I did was to play this morning with kids, showing them a puppet that sort of eats some smaller ones and spits them out. They were rolling with laughter... Love your card!

ReplyDeleteThe cutest thing I saw this week was a photograph on the Pioneer Woman's blog. It was a photograph of a dog waiting in the entryway for two schoolgirls coming up the walk. Very cute and it brought tears to my eyes.

ReplyDeletethe cutest thing I've seen this week was a robin taking a dustbath near my driveway. It was so very disturbed when I parked my car. It stood mid-bath, with its feathers fluffed and its head cocked, waiting to see if I was some sort of threat. And me without a camera!

ReplyDeleteFun and cute card. The cuttest thing I saw this week was a little girl pushing a stroller that she was suppose to be sitting in. When her mother took it out of the car, she started pushing it. She was really little and the umbrella stroller was bigger than she was.
ReplyDeleteThe cutest thing I have seen this week is my sons dog. He looks like a jack russell. And we take him for a walk each evening. Well the cute part is he has to be out in front of us. He can't stand it if one of us gets ahead of him. So he constantly has to run ahead if we happen to pass him. LOL.

ReplyDeleteWell... the cutest thing I've seen or done this week, is way too many to think of or mention. I am a preschool teacher. One of the cutest things however was when a little boy tripped while we were playing in the gym, and another little boy came over to him, and rubbed his back asking if he was ok. It was too cute! (especially if you knew the 2 boys... rowdy)

ReplyDeleteI did a crazy thing today. I'm in sales and I was meeting a customer that I had never met before for lunch. I told him that I was chunky wearing a blue shirt he told me he was chunky wearing a white shirt. He was bringing two of buddies along with him and his name was Rick. I'm sitting in my truck (I'm from Texas) and 3 guys walk by and I say Rick and he answers. I get out of my truck and walk into the restaurant

ReplyDeleteMy cutest thing would be my daughter's musical theatre dance camp production tonight and seeing her have her 1st curtain call leap! She's very shy so seeing her perform and even have a speaking part is amazing!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card!! As for cute this week, my 3yr old got his face painted as a tiger the other day. Not really knowing what they were doing, after he was done, he was shown himself in a mirror and for about 5-10sec, just stared. I honestly don't think he could recognize himself. When it hit him though, he got the biggest grin and spent the next 5min looking at himself in a mirror, making faces and touching his face and the reflection. VERY cute!

My daughter turned 3 yesterday! For her Dora party, I made 3 little destination (butterfly garden, tallest mountain, rain forest) for her to explore via the map... cutest thing I've done this week. And seeing her in full-blown imagination mode on her "adbenture" complete with "noculars" is the cutest thing I've seen this week.

A co-workers daughter is celebrating her 1st birthday this weekend and for the centerpiece and after a gift for Grandma she wanted a lady bug frame. This was large enough to hold a 4x6 photo-under the wings. Too cute and best of all mama loved it!

I love your little robot card! The cutest thing I saw this week was a little girl, (maybe three yrs. old), grocery shopping with her dad. She had her furry little purse and was carrying what I bet was her favorite book. Curly blond hair and a sweet little dress on. What caught my attention was her attitude. She was definitely leading her dad around the store, looking at all the things she wanted while dad was trying to coax her to the check-out.

ReplyDeleteThe cutest thing I have seen this week is a kitten in a Hello Kitty costume. I know, it is not the greatest thing to do to your kitten, but it was so cute to see. I am not sure where they got the head piece or how they got the kitten to sit still long enough to take a photo.

ReplyDeleteThis card is adorable and I love the bright happy colors. I went to my 6-year old nephew's flag football game yesterday and it was so cute when the hiked the ball and then handed the ball to the next guy in line and then he handed it to the next guy who ran with the ball. No throwing involved. My nephew made 3 touchdowns though so that was exciting and I got some great photos to scrap. He's so stinkin' cute!

ReplyDeleteThe cutest thing I did this week was read a "pout-pout-fish" book to my grandchildren. They knew the verse by heart and recited it over and over again.
ReplyDeleteYesterday my family had a surprise 30th birthday party for me and my nephew (9) was playing with my friends son (1 1/2) and they had a blast. They are both named Eric and little Eric was just in awe of big Eric and smiled every time he said his name. I think he thought it was neat to be calling someone else the same name! It was adorable watching them play together!

ReplyDeleteThe cutest thing I've seen this weekend was my two beagles snuggling up together in the backseat of the truck. We were heading home from a weekend of camping and those two boys were just tuckered out! One was laying on the seat and the other was flopped right on top of the first. Sound asleep-so cute!

ReplyDeleteAdorable card! This week we were at a wedding and there were 5 beautiful lil' girls all in pink flowing dresses playing tag in the middle of the lawn. So fancy but having so much fun! It was super cute.
