Remember way back last week, when I mentioned this awesome new book?

paper_crafts_gourmet

At the time, I didn't mention that I am lucky enough to have a few projects included in this book...and I get to share one of them with you today! (I know...lucky you...lol).piano_teacher_cookie_can piano_teacher_cookie_can_tag

This is a pringles can...re-purposed as a gift container for a piano teacher...can you just picture yummy homemade cookies stacked inside with a cute little tag to add to the outside.

AND, here's the really good news...I get to give away a copy of this book, courtesy of Paper Crafts! Do you want one? Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite holiday treat is. I'll choose a random winner on Friday!

    Okay, my favorite Holiday treat...
for October - November it would be the pumpkin dessert I posted on my blog.

  16. What an adorable idea. I never would have guessed it was a Pringles can. Good job. I love all things Christmas. It just gives me the warm fuzzies to think about 'family get-togethers'. My facorite Holiday treat is Russian Tea (hot spice tea) with anything sweet. Just the smell of the cinnamon and spice tea gets me in the Christmas mood. It isn't Christmas without Russian Tea.

  21. What a great twist on the "decorate a can" theme - love it!

My fave Christmas treat is a frozen tart that my mom used to always make, and now my sister & I make, but occasionally adapt a bit - it's hard to make a million homemade tart shells! It's kind of a cheesecake style tart with raspberries....SO yummy!

  23. I know this sounds weird but we enjoy Candy Canes in Oranges. If you cut a small whole in the orange and poke a Candy Cane into it then start sucking on the candy cane eventually it hollows out and you actually drink orange juice right out of the orange. You kind of have to squeeze the orange while you are working on the candy cane.

  24. I have a favorite holiday treat that we only have during Christmas. Homemade (grandma's secret recipe) Red Velvet cake with butter cream icing. However, I can only have a small slice of it this year! I'm on a quest to lose weight...lost 66 pounds so far and don't want to gain any during the holidays!!!!!

I would love to have one of these books...it looks great!!!
