summer frame for carta bella…

Many of you might recall that I recently started working for Echo Park Paper, and it’s sister company, Carta Bella.  I am loving my new job! I’ve been working away “behind the scenes,” learning lots of great things – but I was extra excited when I was finally able to get creative with this fun collection by Carta Bella called “Summer Lovin’.”

My very first project was featured on their blog yesterday (here)…and I couldn’t wait to share it here on my own blog as well!

You can see all of the details and read about my project over on the Carta Bella blog…

Does the frame look familiar?  It’s hanging in my entry, a part of the huge frame collage I put together a while ago.  This is the frame I like to switch out for every season or holiday.  Summer is right around the corner..I can feel it (or at least I can wish it)!

Here is the same frame from some of it’s past lives:

I love having this one little frame to play with and change up every few months! :)

boys rule, and a new FREE idea book…

Several months ago, I was asked to create some projects for Echo Park Paper for their CHA booth. This was before I was officially working for them and I was thrilled to be asked to create for them! It’s always a good day when I get to play with awesome new products! This is a Photo Freedom  (pocket page) spread I created using their “Boy’s Rule” collection.

Fast forward to today…this project, along with another one of mine, and a bunch more from several super talented gals, has been published in their latest Idea book!

Guess what?  YOU can download it for FREE!  Just click HERE! :)

**This issue contains many NEW interactive features. Look for "CLICK HERE" buttons for additional project ideas, the complete collections, and to visit both companies' blogs and Facebook pages. You're going to be even more inspired with this fabulous book filled with spring projects!

pocket scrapbooking with chickaniddy crafts…

It was my turn to blog on the Chickaniddy Crafts blog (here) yesterday.  I was asked to share a pocket page I created using Chickaniddy’s fun products.

You can read more about my page, and see a complete product supply list by visiting the Chickaniddy blog. :)

Happy Tuesday! :)

thinking of you…

Guess what?  I get to be one of the first people to share a sneak-peek of the soon-to-be-released “Pretty Petals Die Set” from Top Dog Dies!  I used them, along with some super sweet “Garden Party” papers from Pebbles.

I just love layering different shapes, sizes, and colors of flowers – so I really enjoyed making all of the different flowers to add to this card. :)

Be sure to visit the Top Dog Dies website on May 9th to see this die set – and all of the newest sets being released!

All of the Garden Party products are on sale right now!  Just click on the images below for more information! :)

Hope you’re having a great Monday!

national scrapbook day with pebbles…

Happy National Scrapbook Day!  As part of today's celebrating, I’m excited to be participating in a blog hop with my fellow designers at Pebbles, Inc.  We’re all sharing brand new layouts on our blogs today – be sure to hop along for some fun ideas and oodles of inspiration! :)

These photos were actually taken on the 4th of July – between our dinner and fireworks at our family party.  You would never guess that they are 4th of July photos, would you?

Don’t feel trapped into using only themed products or a particular color scheme for a holiday or event – just do whatever tells your story the best! :)

In this case – I wanted to document how my brother always has the newest technology and he’s always excited to share his new discoveries with the kids – his nieces and nephews.

This was the first time he showed them how to take silly photos on his iPad.  It made for a fun time – a great way to entertain everyone while we waited for the sun to set.

You'll find all of the info. for the Pebbles Design Team Hop below - Hop Along – and Enjoy NSD!!
