Hi friends! I know it’s still October, but I had to share this fun little holiday project I made this morning:
I have my Pandora Christmas music playing and a storm is rolling in – it’s making me SO happy today!
Aren’t those little paper strips fun? I created them using a sweet holiday stamp set. It’s from Technique Tuesday, as a part of the Studio AE Club - and it’s only available through October 31st…so If you like it, click on the image to see how you can purchase it – hurry though!!
I think it’s darling and I’m going to be using it on some pages and cards in the near future…so keep an eye out – but remember if you like the stamps, order them asap! For today’s project, I wanted to create something a little bit non-traditional, as far as color scheme, so I chose some pretty papers from the Pebbles – The Front Porch Collection.
I stamped the label image several times on each of the papers and cut them out:
And added sentiments to them:
Next, I punched holes in the ends of every strip:
Then I stacked them up and attached them all together with a jewel brad from American Crafts:
After both ends were connected, I started spreading out the strips:
And ended up with this:
I think it turned out really sweet and I’ll be making more to add to my décor for the holidays:
Thanks for stopping by my blog today – I hope you’re having a happy day too! If you’re not, turn on some holiday music and craft something fun – it’s sure to boost your mood! :)
You did a gorgeous job using this stamp set in such a clever way! I love the non-traditional papers and the way the star ends forms a circle when attached all together like this! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that cute little ball! I am ready to get to some holiday crafting - thanks for the inspiration!
