Echo Park Design Team: February Blog Hop…

Welcome to the Echo Park Paper Design Team Blog Hop! Today the Echo Park Paper Design Team is showcasing projects from our latest collections.

January-DT-Blog-Hop-Graphic

Today I am sharing a card I created using my brand new favorite BOY-themed collection: SCOOT!

WW41016_Winter_Wishes_Collection_Kit_F

There are lots and lots of BOY birthdays coming up in our family, so I am planning to make a whole bunch of cards with this fun collection for each of the cute little guys.

To make this card, I simply used one of the 4x6 cards printed on THIS sheet as the base:

Then I added some border stickers, number stickers, and some coordinating paper strips…

Of course, there were plenty of foam dots added for dimension (because I LOVE foam dots), and some fun teal baker’s twine as well…

It was really a quick and easy card to put together – and fun to add a bit of personalization with the number sticker too.

creative cards | free idea book…

What’s better than an idea book full of creative card ideas?  How about a FREE idea book full of creative card ideas?!?

EP_IB_Cards_cover

The designers at Echo Park and Carta Bella collaborated and some of their best card ideas are featured in this fun book that you can download for free (HERE)!  I have a few cards published in this book – here’s a little peek at one of them:

I used the brand new collection “All About a Boy” by Echo Park to create my card – one of my favorite collections ever, by the way.

It should be shipping very soon – watch for it, it’s a good one!! :)

lovebirds layout…

When I have a lot of fun embellishments I want to use on a layout, I love to create grid layouts like this one. The entire layout was created with elements from the “lovebirds” line by Doodlebug and was published on their blog here.

By cutting several fun patterned papers into 3" squares, I created six mini canvases to embellish!

I used stickers

washi tape

jewels

tags

and more on each square.

I added machine stitching to every square for continuity.

Then I simply filled in the empty squares with a few instagram photos!
