hello fall…

One more project I shared on the Lily Bee blog last month when I was guest designing for them. :)

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out all of the fun leaves, then I used my sewing machine to run a straight stitch right through the middle of the row.wendysueanderson_hello_fall_layout_detail1
I added buttons to the leaves on the side and to the leaves near the top right corner.  By the way, those “leaves” are actually the negative parts of the “e” and the “l” from the “hello” I cut with my cameo.wendysueanderson_hello_fall_layout_detail2
I’ve noticed a little trend lately of stitching through a word or letters to attach it to a page – and I really liked it, so I thought I’d give it a try. :)

I have to say I’m loving the fall colors all around me, but I know they never last long enough.  It’s fun to be able to create my own fall leaf collection! :)
