lucky us…

Last week was “In Stitches” week on the Pebbles Blog.  My assignment was to simply use stitching (either machine or hand) on a project.  If you know me, you know this was the easiest assignment I’ve ever had -  because I stitch on EVERYTHING!

Since I had yet to use any of the product from the Mr.& Mrs. line, I decided to mix it up with some miscellaneous pink items from other Pebbles lines.  Here’s the result:

I found a handful of pictures of the two of us – there weren’t many…but I’m glad I’ve occasionally handed my camera over to one of the kids so we at least have this many pics of the two of us together.

I cut lots of squares the same size as the photos and stitched around all of them with pink thread.

I added some stitching over the chipboard letters too (just for fun...they were already sticky on the back)

I played around with some of the layered stickers, removing layers that had colors that didn’t match

And I cut some of them apart as well.

You can see my layout (here) on the Pebbles – along with lots of other fun ideas for adding stitches to your projects. :o)
