doodlebug card set giveaway…

Hi friends!  If you just hopped over from the Doodlebug blog, welcome!!  Today I am excited to share this little card trio I created using Doodlebug’s brand new Flower Box Collection – it’s so bright and springy…it just makes me happy (and anxious for all of the snow to melt out of my yard, the flowers to bloom, and the grass to get green)!

You know there’s a giveaway coming below…but first I wanted to share some of the fun details and more information about some of the products I used to put these cards together:

First of all…I used several different styles of Bon Bon (brown) cards and envelopes from different create-a-card sets – you can see the various styles and/or purchase them by clicking on the images below.  Each set contains 9 cards and 9 coordinating envelopes!

One of my favorite things about Doodlebug is how their collections are so easy to intermix because they are all based on the same color palette.  Most of the cards in these create-a-card packs could have been used with the flower box collection.

  

Okay, on to some of the card details:

I love dimensional flowers – this one was super easy to create with these three products:

The 4x6 album inserts/journaling cards that are included in this collection work perfectly for card bases and backgrounds too!  And of course, the 6x6 double sided cardstock pads include scaled down versions of the larger prints – so they are just the right size for card-making!

And one of my FAVORITE new additions to the Doodlebug Brand – Washi Tape!!!  And good old colorful Doodle Twine too…

On this little banner, I used trimmed one of the border stickers to go along the top.  The cute little wood grain heart sticker came off the 12x12 sticker sheet.

Oh, and the sweet little doodle-pops stickers – don’t even get me started…I love, love, love them all!!

  11. I like pale yellow with some browns - I think it's because they were the colours of my Brownies uniform. But I love all shades of green with all shades of brown.
