fabrique friday…

Yep, it’s Friday again!  Time for a quick Slice Fabrique Tip.  This might be obvious to some of you, but to others, it just might be new news.   When you notice your fabric is starting to fray on the edges when you cut, or if you have a hard time getting a good clean cut, the solution is simple:  just switch out your blade!  You’ll have your Slice Fabrique cutting through fabric like a hot knife through butter before you know it!

You already know what happens when you use your nice fabric scissors to cut paper – it dulls your blade really quickly, right?  Well, the same is true for your Slice cutting blades. So if you are using your Slice Fabrique to cut both paper and fabric, it’s definitely not a problem (and it’s a great way to get more use from your machine) but just know you may be changing your blades a little more often. :)

Remember to check out the Slice Fabrique page on Facebook as well as the Slice Fabrique Website & Blog for lots of useful tips, and fun project ideas!
