...slightly overwhelmed right now - lots happening in my little world (way too much stress and drama for my taste)...but I wanted to pop in quickly to share a fun little project I worked on last month.
This mini album will be a little place to record the books I will read throughout the year. Isn't it funny how writing a book report when you're in 4th grade is such a pain in the rear (just ask Josh, he'll tell you!!!), but I'm actually looking forward to writing little book reports now!
Also, a huge thank you for all of the book suggestions you guys shared with me - I've made my list and I'm excited to get busy reading (and treadmilling, lol) again! Last night I started reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
You can see the project with all of the supplies linked here.

{eta: I've received several e-mails recently asking if I have any more surprise boxes available (see sidebar ---->).
The answer is YES! I do have more surprise boxes available...and ready to ship right now!
I am not sure if I e-mailed everyone back - I think I did, but my head has been elsewhere lately,
so if I happened to miss responding to your e-mail, I hope you see this little note. thank you! :o)}
So, I woke up to a dead computer. No power whatsoever. Nice. I have this little laptop, but it doesn't work with my camera card and the usb ports aren't working. Nice again. Anyway, I CAN cut and paste and run a random number generator...so I DO have some giveaway winners:

Have you heard about the newest special issue from Creating Keepsakes Magazine?
It's called scrapbooking tips & tricks and it's available to purchase now!
This is a new special series that will be published 4 times a year and each issue will have a special focus. The first issue is dedicated to ORGANIZATION - yay! It's full of organizational ideas for your supplies, your scrap space, your albums, your layouts, and more! I'm kind of a junkie when it comes to organization ideas, so this is definitely a fun issue for me! Even if you consider yourself completely organized, you'll probably find something worthwhile in the pages of this issue...like defining your organizational style or fun ideas for hosting a crop, or fun time saving tricks...or all of the above. Definitely all of the above (and more)! And don't worry - there are lots and lots of fun, creative scrapbooking ideas too!
I even have a few layouts included...and while I can't show you exactly what I contributed...I can give you a hint. Check out THIS blog post. If you like it, you'll probably be interested in my pages in this special issue. ;)
Sounds like the perfect Valentine's Day gift to give yourself, right?!? Check it out HERE. And if you decided to purchase it (which you most definitely should, lol) you can use the code TIPSB to get 20% off at checkout. Hurry though, the code will only work through February 15th.
If you'd prefer to get 100% off, leave a comment here on this post - I'll draw a random winner to receive a FREE copy on Saturday morning - so be sure to leave a comment and check back this weekend! :o)
Hello February!!! I can't believe it's here already - I am going to get out my Valentine's Day decorations today...there are only 13 days left to enjoy them! And speaking of February and Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share a fun little layout I made using the new Valentine's Day line by American Crafts. It's called I *heart* you - and it's so unique! I always think of red and pink when I think of Valentine's Day. Sometimes purple...but I've never considered yellow. And yet...it works so well! I love the pops of yellow in this new line!
That fun stripey paper has glitter on every yellow stripe.
And those cute heart flowers are glittery too. (click here to see the color on the back of the paper - all AC paper is double-sided, I LOVE that!)
I'm loving the glitter chipboard pieces - click here to see all the shapes and colors included in the package. There are also non-glttered chipboard pieces here and patterned chipboard here.
And the rub-ons are super cute (click here to see the other rub-on images in this set). If you're looking to add a new twist to your Valentine Paper collection, this is definitely the one for you!!
In other news...
Check it out here!
